Fujiko F Fujio Museum (Doraemon Museum) - Kawasaki

This is a super late post too, but again, better late than nothing! :D

I went to this place during my summer break in September 2014 (already last year ne~). I thought this museum located in Tokyo, but no.. I was wrong. It took me an hour from Tokyo to go to Kawasaki via train and from the train station, they will provide you the shuttle bus to go to the museum. I'm so sorry, but I forget all the price. As I remember, it didn't cost me a lot compared to Disneysea or Universal Studio.. I will blog about that later.. when I'm less lazy.. lol.. But, I bet you saw many blog posts about those places already! So, let me talk about this Doraemon Museum.

It's not particularly Doraemon Museum though like 80% of the contents are Doraemon. Other works from Fujiko F Fujio san are showcased too there. You'll start the tour with a walkie talkie device that looks like a 90s phone.. You see the exhibition, you saw the number, push the number on the walkie talkie thingy, then they will give you more info about it through your earphone. So it's up to you, whether you want to take time to see each pictures and listen to the explanation or not. Oh, it's available both in Japanese & English. Make sure you tell the staffs to give you the English version one in case you don't understand Japanese..

After the exhibition rooms, you'll find yourself in an open space area where you can snaps pictures.. but here's an advice.. When you enter this museum, go to this open space first! (2nd floor) then take pictures while there's no people, so you can snap like zillion pictures, then you put your name to the restaurant's waiting list, because it will take 2 hours to wait if it's crowded, then you go back to 1st floor, enjoy the exhibition room with no people there.. because all people now on the 2nd floor! hahahaha! That's what I did and it saved me a lot of time!

No camera allowed in the exhibition area, so here are some pictures from the open space area

どこでもドア(dokodemo doa) or in Indonesian, Pintu Kemana Saja!
Absolutely my favorite gadget.
Imagine if I had this.. I can just wake up 10 minutes before class starts..
then I can travel anywhere, for FREE! No hotel needed too. I can just go back home!

With the Doraemon! Yay my outfit match you!
OOTD

Bottom: Giordano

After taking pictures, (there are more, but I don't want you get tired of my face, so lets stop here first) lol. Anyway, I'm still waiting for my name to be called for the restaurant and the exhibition room was full loaded still, so I bought some snacks! They have small gift shops at the open space area.

OMG.. I LOVE DORAYAKI ICE!! You MUST try if you came!!

some more snacks, from left to right : Dorami cookies, Dorayaki, Anki-Pan (memory bread?)
They all look cute but taste just ok. Not bad, but not that great too.. so.. instagram-worth?

After this snacking, I went to the indoor area, where you could saw more interesting stuffs and watched short movie, but obviously I couldn't record..

It cost you probably around 1,000-2,000 JPY
