Bangkok Trip: My Name is Napat cafe & clothing (Part 4/6)
If you guys read my Part 1/6 from this Bangkok Trip series, I believe you guys might remember I mention I went to JJ market (or known as Chatuchak Market) not for the clothes, but specifically to visit this cafe called My Name is Napat.
JJ market is a very famous destination for tourist nowadays as most of my friends and/or bloggers out there recommend this place (mostly for shopping tho).. This JJ market is a weekend market, so yeah, only Saturday and Sunday (from 9 am - 6 pm only).. I recommend Saturday, since I heard Sunday is kinda double the crazy..
I went there at 10 ish in the morning and it was easy to reach the market.. hellow, the market is freakin big.. like what? 14 hectare?! yeah, no kidding, you can get lost inside the market..
Anyway, how to go there? If you went by BTS, simply go to Mo Chit station and follow the crowds.. no kidding, because most likely 80% of the passengers will go there anyway.. so follow them!
First thing first, you must grab a map if you saw one (I didn't saw one, but I heard they have a map), then decide which location you wanna explore first..
For me, I just went in randomly and saw what's the market can offer me.. Again, I will say, if you have high standards regarding quality of fabric and sewing and blablablabla for your clothing, forget JJ market... I have another option for you to shop fellas, wait for my Part 6/6 post about shopping guide.. lol
JJ market is just an experience for you who are picky about clothes, but this cafe I'm about to introduce you is worth the visit!
This cafe located in Section 2, 232-234.
It's not just a cafe, it is also a clothing shop! So the front part is clothing shop, you go in a little further, you can see the cafe! :) I'm actually happy with Section 2, even though I said forget JJ market as a shopping destination, you might still can grab some pieces in Section 2.. their stores are nicer and price wise isn't so expensive, tho not as cheap as what would you expected (like 100 baht)
Ok, back to the cafe, I'm IN LOVE with the cafe's concept!
They are simple but cozy enough!
All the details they put to build the ambience!
Very instagram worth! lol
What's fun about the cafe, they will change the food theme every weekend! WOW! So I'm kinda excited on what characters I will see (I saw totoro, hello kitty on some other blogs)... and I got to see...
POPEYE! lol
Whole set of Popeye's Macarons
Now, lets talk about their menu..
This is err.. man... I forgot..
I think it's Chicken Nugget with Cheese.. but it taste good!
Ice cream with Wafer inside the jar :9 yum!
no filter one.. see, still looks yummy!
I ordered the orange one.. and... IT TASTE GOOD!
Seriously, Bangkok broke my perception of Cute Food taste Horrible..
ALL OF THEM TASTE SO GOOD?!?!!
:9 :9 :') :') The waffle was GREAT
no kidding :')
Ice Chocolate and Thai Tea
So, even though you might can't shop happily in JJ market (if you were picky), you still have a great time, and I guarantee your family most likely love this idea too!
Ok, that's it for this post..
