Bangkok Trip: Wat Pho (Part 5/6)

Still about my Bangkok trip that ends about 2 weeks ago..
This time I want to share another tourist's spot called Wat Pho..
It's a Buddhist temple with lots of Buddha's statues covered with gold leaves... and.. I think I'm done.. ok, if you need more basic information, just google about it..

Anyway, I went there with Taxi and it cost about 100 something baht.. For sure it didn't reach 200.. Just remember, always ask the taxi to use meter.. Oh, and best to always have the destination's name in Thai language too.. Sometimes the taxi drivers don't speak english, so you can just show the name of your destination (in Thai of course, not alphabets)

The entrance of this temple isn't so hard to find, you may also follow the crowds who look like a tourist.. The entrance fee to the temple is only 100 baht and you get one free mineral water which is not bad!

Something you wanna take note to go to Wat Pho is, wear something descent.. I mean, no tube top, and no shorts/skirts.. because if you wore those kind of clothes, you'll have to borrow their piece of fabric to cover up (almost) each time you want to enter each building..

I wore T-shirt and skirt that day, so they lend me that piece of fabric which happens to be the perfect match for my Tee.. lol

Outdoor

Selfie taken while resting.. what a hot day..

I love the architectures of the temples and enjoy the ambience actually, but if you asked me on how much time will you need to spare for this temple, I'd say, 1-2 hours are enough.. The day I came there, it was so hot, so I couldn't stay too long or I might melt, but I covered the whole temple already in just 1.5 hours max! So yeah, Wat Pho is definitely worth your short visit.. You can just come by here in the morning after breakfast and continue with another plans for the rest of the day :)
