Short Trip to Busan, Korea
Hi~! It's been quite a long time since the last post~
Anyway, I'm back!
I went to Busan on 31st March 2015 with Ferry Cruise from Osaka and reach Busan on 1st of April.. I stayed there for a night only, and heading back to Fukuoka on the 2nd April and reach Fukuoka on 3rd of April.. I went there with my seminar classmates.. there were 8 of us, but we were divided into 3 groups, so I have another 2 girls with me in the same group to travel around Busan.
Dinner on Ferry~ <3
Regardless the very short time of my stay in Busan, I actually had a great time, and I will definitely come back to Busan someday in the future ;)
So, 1st April.. I reached Busan at 12 ish (pm) and the whole group went to Jagalchi for lunch.. We ate the pork soup.. I totally forgot what's that in Korean language (yea, I don't speak Korean.. my Korean knowledge is very shallow.. I only know to say "hello", "thank you", "excuse me", "sorry", and "this"" lmao).. Anyway, the dish is very popular in Busan..
Lucky me, I have a friend who stays in Busan~ She was my classmate during my primary school.. She told me, the pork soup is Busan's specialty, you can't even find it in Seoul I heard..
The pork soup
more pork~! :9
After I finished the lunch, I went to my hotel in Haeundae~..
On our way to the hotel~
Haeundae Beach, like 5 minutes away from the hotel
We checked in, put our stuffs, and immediately went out to go to Seomyeon, since my friend recommended the place for us to do some shopping..
It was easy to travel in Busan.. their subway isn't as complicated as Japan's.. I downloaded this app called Korea Subway.. It is so useful!
Anyway, if you want to shop cheap clothes and Korean cosmetics, such as Etude, Tony Moly, Missha, and many more.. you can go to Seomyeon and shop inside the subway..
I went out tho for a bit.. I went out through the McDonald's exit and I found a duty free shop~
After awhile, I went to Kyungsung University stop, to meet my friend..
She brought me to a small restaurant.. man, the food was so great and CHEAP compared to Japan.. I was like, what?! SO CHEAP.. and there, I drunk my first Soju in Korea <3
We strolled the street a bit, got street food and went to supermarket to bought some omiyage (oleh2 in Indonesian.. Idk what's that called in English.. Omiyage is a Japanese word).. There my friend introduced me to Chocolate Vodka.. bought it.. and lovin it.. I bought another 2 when I'm about to go back to Japan lol
Street food
more!
yeap, this is the vodka!
On the 2nd day, my group went to Gamcheon Village.. Simply go to Toseong stop and then you can take bus~ it's pretty simple.. again, Busan's transportation is very traveler friendly.. I don't speak any Korean and I survived lol.
Gamcheon Village is famous to be called the little Santorini.. I never been to Santorini, so I couldn't compare it... but I think this village is beautiful.. definitely worth to visit~ You can take pictures with the colorful houses~
Then we went back to Jagalchi, for shopping and to meet my friend again.. I had a nice time, catching up with an old friend while strolling around Busan's street.. Totally lovely~
Afterward, we went back to the port..
This is the picture I took on ferry, was very windy~ lol
but seriously, I'm very thankful for this opportunity.. <3
